chest muscles, and buckle the strap to
the transmitter.
- When using a dry suit, lift the transmitter
off your chest and moisten the two
grooved areas on the back.
- Check that the electrode areas are fi rmly
against your skin and that the Polar logo
is in a central, upright position.
- Ensure that the transmitter is not
displaced when donning a wet suit or a
dry suit.
1.14 Turning off Galileo
Galileo turns off automatically after
3 minutes without operation. When in time
of day display, it can also be turned off
manually by pressing and holding the left
and right buttons simultaneously.
